Prenatal Life and Sustainable Development
The 7 Principles of Natural Prenatal Education
Woman is the mother of humanity and holds the keys to its development
Mothers have the innate power to love, nurture and support the human family
The prenatal baby is conscious and these first nine months leave a life long imprint
The seeds of war or peace, health and emotional security are sown in the mother's womb
The mother’s thoughts, feelings and imagination are the prenatal baby's first environment
Womb ecology is the foundation of sustainable development, prosperity and security for all
Mothers' freedom to choose a respectful, natural and peaceful birth is a fundamental human right
“Natural prenatal education will considerably improve public physical and psychological health whilst decreasing violence and crime. This will greatly impact the economy, creativity, peace, happiness and sustainable development in the world. We call upon NGO’s, governments, national and international health and education institutions and all individuals to integrate, emphasise and diffuse this vital knowledge in the best interest of all humanity.” Justice Ioanna Mari, President, OMAEP

The 7 actions
Educate all future parents, health professionals educators, decision makers, and the general public on the primordial importance of the prenatal period (preparation, conception, pregnancy, birth and infancy) for health, emotional security, happiness, intelligence and creativity.
Encourage and support mothers in their fundamental role to give birth to a new member of the human family.
Take in consideration the mother's feelings and emotions and their effects on physiology, foetal development and pregnancy outcomes.
Put parenting and especially maternity at the centre of health systems and development programmes with a special accent on prevention and natural health.
Create prenatal education and natural birth centres subsidised by the state.
Offer every future parent a comprehensive and holistic parental preparation programme going from pre-conception preparation to infancy.
Bring parental leaves to a minimum of one or two years.
